Organic Lavender cultivation in the
Monferrato territory - Piedmont - Italy

We are a small family business with an organic farm and an individual business dedicated to the production and sale of products that have as the common denominator.. home grown lavender. Our farm, Cascina Blengio, is located in Ponti, in the south of the region of Piedmont, on the borders of the Langa Astigiana and Alto Monferrato territories, a spectacular natural landscape dominated by scarcely populated and scarcely cultivated high hills, which meet up with the pre-Apennine Ligurian mountains. This area is characterized by the spontaneous growth of officinal herbs that for years, for traditions, have been grown with love and success. Here, we cultivate the Hybrid officinal lavender following organic methods, and dry and distil the freshly harvested flowers of both varieties.

We have chosen some small local artisans and realities to whom we confer our dried flowers to produce for us: Biscuits, Syrups, Jams, Chocolate and Gelatine. Honey is produced by our bees, among our lavender fields and woods, and is confectioned in our laboratory at Cascina Blengio.
The laboratories that take care of our cosmetics products prepare bio-cosmetics which use ingredients with a low ecological impact and are all listed in the ECO-BIO-COSMETICS disciplinary.
The common denominator of all our products is our home-grown LAVENDER, transformed in hydrolat and essential oil at Cascina Blengio, controlled and certified by ECOCERT ITALIA. We also produce valve wax and honey that we add to the creams ( the only ingredients of animal origin). The production of this line of lavender cosmetics, takes place solely in small pieces of land, to be able to always guarantee fragrance and freshness.

The final products are not tested on animals.
